The incredible beauty of the landscape environment offers multiple activities in contact with nature. Rivers, waterfalls and blue lakes that ply Aluminé, is practiced both fishing for perch and trout as water sports: canoeing, kayaking and rafting.

Navigable throughout the year, the torrent of the Alumine River is the scene of the Argentine Championship of Kayak and Rafting Championship tourist category. The most widespread forms of hunting, is the hunting of deer and wild boar. We can also carry out activities such as: trekking, rappel-tirolesa, mountain biking, horseback riding, bird watching, photographic safaris etc..

Circuits

Circuits

The region offers different tourist circuits, leading to Ruca Choroy, Carri Lil, Lonco Luan circuit Pehuenia (for where through 5 Lakes), Villa Pehuenia, Quillén Lake and Lake Hui Hui, Malalco Canyon, circuit Bay of dreams and protected areas as from the Chany and the Batea Mahuida (snow park with lifts). You can also make a circuit around the city: city tour, balneario Municipal, know also some hills, viewpoints and landscapes, Cerro Tindirica, Mirador del rio Aluminé, Mirador Piedra Pintada, Paraje Pui-Pucón and if we want to see something of art paintings at Pilolil.

Alumine

Alumine city is a mountain town located on the banks of the Alumine River and surrounded by the exceptional natural beauty this part of Argentina Patagonia is famous for.

Alumine means “ bright pot/ shining pot/ glittering pot, in mapuche ( indian language voice)

Here you can experience the adventure of being in the ANDES, a World of incomparable purity and beauty. You can enjoy Alumine fishing trout in the rivers; going horseback riding or riding 4x4 along the mountain paths.

It is the main door to Pehuenia area, which offers varied hotel, gastronomic and services and fecilities, with both traditional and non-conventional tourist options, spread in an environment of incredible beauty. Of predominant native vegetation, with mountains carpeted with ñires, caña colihue, oak trees and monkey-puzzle trees or pehuenes, this place offers paths such as those leading to Ruca Choroi, Carri Lil, Lonco Luan, Villa Pehuenia, la Angostura, Moquehue, Ñorquinco, Quillén, Pulmarí, Lake Hui Hui and Cañadón Malaco, along which you can go by car, on foot or horseback. The fast-flowing rivers, cascades and blue lakes are suitable for sport fishing of brown, rainbow trout and fontinalis, as well as perch. Navigable all year round, the waters and rapids of the Aluminé River are the scenery for the Argentine Kayak Championship, which summons amateurs of this activity, and the tourist category Rafting Championship.

 

 

Weather

For its template and humid Andean weather, summers are fresh, with minimum temperatures of 3º C and maximum temperatures ranging from 28º to 30º C. During the winter, temperatures go down to -5º C minimum and 15º C maximum, with some snow storms on the mountains. Rains, which are scarce, occur generally on Autumn nights. Expression of an untouched nature that shelters in the mountains and lakes, a site for beholding and adventure, Aluminé is an open invitation to enjoy nature and see the cultural roots that protect and dwell in its lands.
